Non-profit

Hello again. I am writing today to inform you all that I have been looking into starting the nonprofit organization called the People's World Food Fund. This is the same things as the Vegan World Food Fund except that we changed our name. There will still only be vegan goods that are bought and given to those in need.

So this is how the system works.

Go to our website.

Search through the thousands of international people who have met our criteria for being in need of food.

Find an individual that feel you can provide for by reading about their socioeconomic situations and what the like to eat.

Make a donation through pay pal to the PWFF of any amount.

Next, the PWFF will take your money and buy the goods your individual requested.

This food will go directly to the person you've selected. The person will post on our blog about you and your generosity and kindness.

The PWFF thanks you all for your future contributions.

Right now the PWFF is working for the hungry in the Portland-Metro Area in Oregon in the United States.

Our philosophy is that we need to take care of ourselves in order to be able to take care of others.

The PWFF is a nonprofit foundation dedication to helping ordinary people find hunger on the streets of their own neighborhoods and do something about it.

Good Morning. I will be enjoying some potatoes, onions and other veggies this morning. Have a good breakfast everyone and make sure to be grateful to your food. It will return the favor.

Hunger is not an option

There are many folks out there who wish to help other people. I am one of them, I know how hard it can be. Since helping is not always easy, I'd like to enable others to create social change by creating the Vegan World Food Fund.

The Vegan World Food Fund allows anyone to send vegan food items to the rest of the world, one vegetable at a time. You may even choose who to sponsor and where. We are based in Portland, Oregon.

By supporting people who eat vegan, you are creating social change by decreasing the usage of natural resources, eliminating people's dependency on factory farming, bio/genetic engineering and protecting the holistic nature of food for everyone. When people are given food, they have extra money to save, spend on bills and other costs of living. The world view of pro-active animal rights, local and organic consumerism and environmentally friendly transportation flourishes within Americas own punk-hipster hybrid of twenty somethings and teens. Yet, they are the least spoken for, provided for and most forgotten. The underpinnings of our society need to be acknowledged and cared for now, as they provide the most unique and introspective look at who we are as a society.

By not acknowledging them, we are not acknowledging ourselves. This is the first crisis for which our society missed, and tried to pass blame instead. But with the VWFF we can rightfully accept who we are as a society by doing something about it with the click of a button.

The time is always right for change. Lets stop ignoring our drives to help, because when we do we ignore those who are in need.

So, by breaking it down to veganism I hope to gain the support of those who are passionate about veganism throughout the world. I feel that donating exists at its highest potential when a local, or sociocentric mentality is honored. This is represented in every charity. Every culture and subculture suffers from hunger and there are too many overpriveleged mouths to feed in the mainstream. Lets take a look at who we are, and help ourselves help others.

Veganism is an easy, healthy, inexpensive and highly sustainable way for the common person to nourish themselves. By making the commitment to help one another we can learn the positive traits that will keep us alive and well in the future.

I don't just want to help the hungry, I want to empower individuals to help other individuals so that we may all live in harmony.
